Phase III clinical trial of COVID-19 vaccine in China has officially started, with no significant side effects among the volunteers
According to a report by Hurriyet daily News on December 1, Turkish officials said that volunteers in the phase III clinical trial of China's COVID-19 vaccine have been closely monitored and the results so far show no significant side effects.
On September 15, a phase III trial of China's COVID-19 vaccine was launched in Turkey, involving health care workers at high risk of infection and other moderate-risk volunteers. So far, no serious side effects have been reported. Phase III trials of China's COVID-19 vaccine were conducted in 25 centres in 12 provinces in Turkey. Volunteers will receive a second dose 14 days after the first dose. Volunteers will be closely monitored for 28 days after vaccination. After 28 days, the volunteers were called back every week for a year to track their health.
