What is
tetraromobisphenol A?
Tetrachromobisphenol A is the largest flame retardant in the world, mainly (90%) is a reactive brominated flame retardant covalently bound to the polymer structure, which is released compared to the additive flame retardant. The possibility of the environment is smaller. Tetrachromobisphenol A is mainly used to produce a circuit board polymer, and two hydroxyl groups can react with epoxy chloropropane under alkaline conditions, which are widely used in epoxy resin formulations.
Tetrachromobisphenol A is also used as flame retardants in plastics, paper and textiles, and as plasticizers in binders and coatings.
